Sauro Somigli (Florence, Italy, 1951)
Martial Arts Teacher. International Master of Tai Ji Quan. Karate trainer. EU expert license since 2017*
Gives special attention to coordination, balance, dexterity, the use of muscle strength, space-time relationship, breathing, concentration and musical rhythm for the maintenance of physical and mental wellbeing.

Member of the Commission of national technical teachers of the Italian Federation of Karate in the Olympic quadrennium (1980 to 1984)
Co-founder, in 1996, of APEIRON (Nepal), a volunteer organization which works, through karate, with street children and women who have been victims of violence. Through this organization he went on humanitarian missions and worked in Brazil, Romania, Albania, Kosovo and India.
He has given classes and trainings as well to classical dance professionals such as Roberto Bolle (American Ballet Theater ABT and La Scala lead dancer), Alessio Carbone (Paris Opera lead dancer) and other professionals in several courses organized by the Accademia Internazionale Coreutica de Firenze directed by Elisabetta Hertel.

He has also taught Taiji Quan in Florence, Rome (1 year), London (Holborn Center for Performing Arts) (during 3 years), Paris (1 year), Miami (1 year), Karate Singen workshops and seminars in Munich (Germany), Lugano (Switzerland), Budapest (Hungary), Bucharest (Romania), Fortaleza (Brazil), Crete and Barcelona.
